Our legs are very important. They get us around from A to B and generally need a lot of love and attention to keep them tip top. Therefore it’s not a great idea to have them constantly sit at a desk for up to 7 to 8 hours a day. Legs are meant to be exercised and used. They are meant to move. So, rather than sit around all day not being able to use them what can you do to keep the blood flowing to them?

Restless legs and joint pain is becoming an increasing problem for office workers as they are not using their legs enough. One option is to look at using a standing desk or riser that lets you stand up once in a while at your desk. You should try to moderate between sitting and standing as conversely it does you no good to be on your feet all day either. Another thing you can do is look up some leg stretching exercises that you can do at your desk. The other rather old fashioned idea is to take regular walks around the office or even outside of it.
