Clear up the garden – Any debris and mess should be cleared away – look out for falling leaves at this time of the year, especially on paths and decking as this can be a real slipping hazard. Twigs and sticks will also be something to look out for, especially after those strong autumn winds.

Replace Furniture – If you are hankering after some new garden furniture, now is the best time to do it. As summer is coming to an end, a lot of places will do fantastic discounts on outdoor furniture, and you may well be able to pick up a bargain at this time of the year.

Plant spring bulbs – If you want to enjoy a glorious colour display in the spring, now is the time to plant daffodils and bluebells. Get them into the ground now before the winter sets in and come the spring you will have a beautiful floral display.
