How to organise your wardrobe step by step

Lifestyle

Do you find that you are spending increasing amounts of time in your day trying to find your favourite pair of ETO denim jeans that you purchased from EJ Menswear, because your wardrobe is an overflowing mess? If this sounds familiar it might be time to organise your wardrobe. This doesn’t have to be a stress task, there are some simple steps that you can take.

  1. Start with one big pile of all your clothing. Take all the items out of the wardrobe and drawers and pile them up on your bed. This way you can see exactly what you have to work with and what space you have in your wardrobe, drawers and shelving to be able to put items back in a tidy way.

  1. Sort through your clothing one by one and decide whether you want to keep each item. If you haven’t worn an item for 6 months and it isn;’t a seasonal item of clothing or something you wear for special occasions, you should consider putting this in a bag to be donated to charity.

  1. Organise your items by carefully putting each item back either as a hanging item in your wardrobe or fold it up neatly and place on the shelving or in the drawers so that you can find your clothing in a much more organised and swift fashion.
